Refund & Reschedule Policy Know the rules before reserving your seat.

Class seats, instructor time, equipment, and course materials are reserved around each registration. Please review these policies carefully before paying. By completing registration, you acknowledge responsibility for selecting the correct course and meeting all attendance and course requirements.

No refunds — all sales are final

Visalia CPR does not issue refunds. Missing a class, arriving unprepared, arriving too late, selecting the wrong course, or failing to meet a course requirement may result in forfeiture of the seat and payments made. Rescheduling is available only when the requirements below are met.

48-Hour Notice Eligible reschedule requests must be made at least 48 hours before class.

$5 Reschedule Fee Applies to approved reschedules made within policy requirements.

30-Day Window An approved rescheduled class must be selected within 30 days of the original class.

How to preserve your registration

Rescheduling is not automatic. Follow the notice period and rebooking window carefully.

Notify us at least 48 hours before class Business hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays are not business hours.

Pay the $5 reschedule fee The fee applies when a reschedule request qualifies under the posted notice requirement.

Choose a new class within 30 days The new session is subject to availability and must be selected within 30 days of the originally scheduled class.

Late / No-Show

Missing class forfeits the seat

Late arrivals and no-shows may forfeit the registration, deposit, and other payments made. A reserved seat cannot simply be transferred after the class has begun or passed.

If you register less than 48 hours before the class start time, you waive the standard reschedule opportunity.

Deposits & Balances

Deposits are non-refundable

When a seat is reserved using a deposit, the remaining balance is due upon arrival in cash, using the exact amount. Tardiness or failure to attend results in forfeiture of the deposit.

BLS Student Manual

Bring the required manual when the policy applies

Students attending an in-person BLS Provider or BLS Provider Renewal class are responsible for obtaining the required BLS Student Manual before class. A student who arrives without the required manual may be unable to participate and may forfeit the seat and payment.

This book requirement does not apply to classes completed online or to Heartsaver classes.

Wrong Class

Confirm your course before paying

Visalia CPR is not responsible for registrations made for the wrong class. When the mistake is reported within the applicable reschedule period, a switch may be possible if space is available. The student is responsible for any price difference.

Walk-Ins

Walk-ins are never guaranteed

• Arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled class.
• Payment must be made in exact cash.
• An additional $4 in-person payment fee applies.
• Seats are first-come, first-served and subject to availability.
• Calling in advance does not reserve a walk-in seat.

Duplicate Payments

Report a duplicate charge immediately

If you accidentally make a duplicate payment, contact Visalia CPR by call, text, and email within 5 minutes of registration. A $15 reversal fee applies. Delayed notification may result in no refund or reversal.

Skills Sessions

You must arrive prepared

Students attending a skills session must have completed the required online Part 1 and must possess a valid American Heart Association Certificate of Completion that matches the skills session.

• No valid matching certificate = student is unprepared.
• No refund is provided when the required online work or certificate is missing.
• A new class or session must be purchased when required.

Student Responsibility

We do not send class reminders

Visalia CPR does not provide reminder calls, texts, or emails. Students are responsible for remembering the scheduled date and time, arriving on time, and bringing everything required for the selected course.

Service & Scheduling

Additional conditions

• Visalia CPR reserves the right to refuse service at its discretion.
• Class schedules, dates, and availability are subject to change without notice.
• Enrollment is limited and handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Students should register only when they are available to attend the selected date and time.
• When a different class is needed, all posted rescheduling requirements and availability rules still apply.

Completing registration indicates acceptance of the posted refund, reschedule, attendance, payment, course-selection, and preparation requirements. If you are unsure which class you need, contact us before paying.
